New Year's Thoughts

Another year has come and gone, and now we embark on a new chapter in our lives called 2017. For me it never matters how each year ends as with each new beginning there is always hope and excitement.

This year as I prepped for the new year I looked back at 2016 to take note of all of the changes: what worked, what didn’t work, what I had hoped for and how I found gratitude for unsuspecting surprises in life. I’m taking note of what worked for me last year and making sure I incorporate it into this year. This is a combination of physical changes in diet and exercise as well as new beliefs that I feel better serve me. This process feels very grounding for me. I feel I’m making each decision out of a deeper awareness and consciousness.

I’m also keeping in mind that in Numerology (the study of numbers and their tendencies) that 2017 breaks down to a number 1 year (2+0+1+7=10; 1+0=1). Last year we wrapped up a number 9 year which was the end of a cycle. We may have experienced endings on different levels in our life or wrapping up projects we had been working on over the past 9 years. This year we shift though to the beginning of a new 9 year cycle. This year we begin to plant the seeds of what we desire to see unfold in our lives. It’s a year of new ideas, originality, new additions, expansion, increasing recognition, meeting new people and change. Being aware that the energy behind this year is one of newness has me mindful of what actions I want to be taking. More love, growth, expansion, new beliefs, new ideas are just a few of my intentions.

What didn’t work for you last year that you are ready to transform and create to support you? What new ideas do you need to start planting?

As with any new year and new start we need to approach it with sustainability. Begin to set your goals in a way that set you up for success. For example, if your end goal is to be working out 5 days a week start right now by working out one day a week and build up over time to your end goal. If you happen to not meet your goal one week have compassion and kindness for yourself as it’s an ever growing process to reach and maintain our goals. The most important part is to not give up on yourself in the process.

I have a few new things I’ll be working towards this year. One of them will be a product line of essential oil sprays and roll ons for health and empowerment. The second item I’m launching this year is my Integrative Wellness & Life Coaching service. I ended 2016 by wrapping up a course I had been working on last year. This certification allows me to bring together all of the trainings I’ve done for the past 4 years and I couldn’t be more excited about sharing this new phase with you.

This program aided in my learning of new tools and techniques to help bring clarity, empowerment, guidance and emotional healing in all four of our body systems (emotional, mental, spiritual & physical). It truly brings together everything I’ve been learning and feels like very powerful work for those that are ready to dive in and make some transformations in their lives.

I’m excited to see what unfolds for each of you this year and I hope you’ll keep me posted. Always know I’m here if you need a little extra inspiration or motivation to keep you going.
